Advisory for the farmers

Irrigation:  In view of falling both maximum and minimum temperature, Farmers are advised to apply light irrigation at evening time to protect the crop from cold injury.

Mustard: Regularly watch mustard crop to check the attack of white rust. If symptoms is found than spraying of Indofil-M45 @ 2.0 ml\litre water is advised.

Wheat: Apply second irrigation in timely sown wheat crop which is in 30-40 days stage.

Rabi Maize: After intercultur operation and earthing up give a light irrigation to maize crop and apply remaining dose of nitrogen @40 kg per hectare in the maize crop which has come to the tasseling stage.

Potato and Tomato Weather condition are very much favourable for blight disease in Potato and Tomato crop. Farmers are advised to spray Endophil M-45 or Dietane M-45@ 2.0 gm per litre of water + Bavestin @1gm/litre against the blight disease.  Spraying should be done in clear sunny days.

Animal care: Sever cold condition may reduce milk production and performance of domestic animals. Farmers are advised to give green fodder with pulse grain dust (Bhusi) to the animals. Make some fire arrangement at evening hour to save animal from extra cold and mosquito.
