A late variety and bears regularly. The ripened fruits are pale green in colour. The pulp is orange in colour which is very sweet, pleasant in flavour, fibreless and soft. The fruits are medium in size (192.5 g), 9.2 x 6.9 cm in size. The TSS and acidity of the fruit are 23.0 and 0. 2412 per cent respectively. The pulp content is 64.1 per cent. It has been observed that this hybrid is not only resistant to wind but also produces good fruiting even in adverse situations. It was the first hybrid mango variety released in 1951-51. |

It has been obtained as a result of cross between Alphonso x Fazli and recommended as variety in Rajendra Agricultural University ( Bihar) Workshop Meeting, 1980 . It is a late season variety. The fruits become pale green after ripening. The fruit is bigger in size (460.0 g per fruit) 12.2 cm in length , 7.7. cm in breadth. The pulp is light yellow in colour. It is less sweet, less pleasant, less fibrous and very soft in taste. The brix (TSS), acidity and pulp percentage are 18.5, 0.24 and 79 %, respectively. |
